Here in Williamsburg, VA our family operates a small vacation rental home named "The Freedom Cottage" in honor of "Freedom Park" just 2 miles away.  The park has connections to our property as it was owned by slaves of the local area.  This was possible as they were willed the property from their Greenspring Plantation owner just before he passed away.  The property would pass down several generations before we became owners in 2019.  We decided to open the cottage to small family travelers and tourists in an effort to provide insight of the areas significance.  As a family, we love staying somewhere clean, comfortable and full of character.  This has influenced the Freedom Cottage and each of our guests can expect cleanliness, comfortability and character with each stay.  As an extension of our home, you can also expect full privacy, hear and see our family chickens, enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and set the ambiance by burning one of our hand poured natural soy wax candles.
